CurrentMM Artist development
A development partner for independent artists ready to build a career.
The Problem
You have the music. You have the vision. You don't have infrastructure.
Artists finish the record and have no idea what comes next. No distribution plan. No label relationships. No strategy for what happens after the EPK. No one who knows the market well enough to tell them which doors to knock on and in what order.
That's the gap CurrentMM fills.
What We Do
CurrentMM works with independent artists across mainstream, English-language, and Latin markets.
We are not a traditional label. We are not a management company. We are not consultants with a deck and no follow-through.
We are the infrastructure you are missing.
We come in, assess what you have, build the plan, and work it until you are ready for the next conversation. That next conversation might be a larger label, a Live Nation deal, or a distribution partnership.
29 years. Sold-out arenas. One story that says it all.
Who we work with
We work with artists who already have something.
A real audience. Even a small one.
A record worth developing.
A story that connects to a specific market.
A team or family that understands what investment means.
We do not discover artists. We do not sign artists who are starting from zero and hoping. We optimize what is already working and build the architecture around it.
If you are at zero, we are not the right fit. If you have momentum and no plan, we are exactly the right fit.
the market
Independent artists have more access than ever and less infrastructure than ever.
Distribution is easy. Getting heard is not.
Every platform wants your content. Nobody is building your career.
The major label system signs fewer artists and later than it ever has.
The gap between making a great record and building a real business has never been wider.
That gap is where we work.
Proof of concept
Tommee Profitt. Fischer Center. 1,400 tickets. Sold out in under 24 hours.
Nobody thought it would work. We put it on sale anyway. The venue called us every 10 minutes asking to release more sections. We sold out in 24 hours.
Year two, we moved to the Opry House. Sold out the night of the show. The week after, we sold the tour to Live Nation. Year three, Live Nation sold out the Opry House in 4 weeks. Year four, Live Nation put it at Bridgestone Arena, announced it the night of the Opry show, and sold it out before the end of January. Eleven months before the event.
2026 is on pace to sell out two nights at Bridgestone. 14,000 seats per night.
That is what happens when you have the right infrastructure and someone who knows how to read the room and move fast.
what you get
Every artist who signs into CurrentMM gets:
Record development and A&R direction
Distribution strategy and label infrastructure
Market positioning and release strategy
Publishing guidance and catalog architecture
Access to 29 years of industry relationships: labels, distributors, publishers, venues, and promoters
A clear path to the right label, publisher, or distribution conversation when the time is right
We do not manage your life. We build the infrastructure and hand you the keys when you are ready.
How we get paid
There are four ways to work with CurrentMM. Every engagement starts with a conversation.
TIER 1: RECORD DEVELOPMENT Project-based. Starting at $3,500/month for 6 months. A&R direction, production oversight, distribution strategy, and release plan for one record. Best for artists with one project and a clear timeline.
TIER 2: DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP $6,000/month retainer. Everything in Tier 1 plus full market strategy, label relationship activation, publishing guidance, and ongoing strategic support. This is the sweet spot. Most serious artists land here. Best for artists with multiple projects in motion or a long-term vision that needs a real partner.
TIER 3: IMPRINT SIGNING Custom structure. Retainer plus equity participation. CurrentMM takes a piece of masters and/or publishing in exchange for full infrastructure: record development, distribution, label positioning, and catalog strategy across multiple releases. We build together. You own your future. Best for artists ready for a multi-year commitment with shared upside.
TIER 4: FRACTIONAL GM $8,500/month and up. Full fractional general manager engagement. Strategy, operations, label relationships, deal architecture, and team building. You get a senior operator without the overhead of a full-time hire. Best for artist teams with revenue, a label deal, or a touring business that needs serious infrastructure management.
the process
DISCOVER One conversation. You talk. I listen. We figure out if there is a fit. No pitch deck. No pressure.
ASSESS I look at what you actually have. Catalog, audience, budget, story, timeline. I tell you what is working and what is missing. Most people have never heard that clearly before.
BUILD The plan goes on paper. Record development, distribution, market positioning, and label roadmap. Specific to your situation, not a template.
EXECUTE We work it. Every month has objectives. Every quarter has outcomes we can measure.
POSITION When the numbers justify it, I make the calls. Labels. Publishers. Distributors. Venue buyers. Real introductions with real context.
Who is behind this
29 years in the music industry. Not as a promoter. Not as a consultant. As the person in the room when the deal gets made.
Took Tommee Profitt from a sold-out 1,400-seat show to two nights at Bridgestone Arena
Managed Christine D'Clario through the infrastructure build that took her to 2 billion streams
Distribution relationships with The Orchard, Capitol CMG, and independent distributors across Latin America
Literary representation for authors and creators across faith and mainstream markets
Active relationships with Live Nation, independent promoters, labels, publishers, and distribution executives across the US
This is not a coaching program. This is a business partner with a track record.
Is this right for you
CurrentMM is not for everyone. I work with a small number of artists at a time so the work actually gets done.
You are a fit if you are:
An independent artist with a real audience and a clear market
An artist or band with a record worth taking to the next level
A creator with a touring business that needs infrastructure, not just a booking agent
A team with a budget and a long-term vision
You are not a fit if you are:
Looking for someone to discover you
Not ready to invest in your own infrastructure
Expecting results without a defined timeline and budget
Looking for a manager to run your life

Close
The record gets made. The EPK gets done. Then what?
That question is where most artists stall.
CurrentMM is the answer to that question.
